Q1: What is Upix?
Upix is a secure file sharing service that allows you to easily upload, share, and showcase your files.
Q2: How does Upix work, and what is its primary use?
Upix works by uploading your media (images/videos) and generating a short URL, which can be quickly shared with those who have the URL.
Q3: How can I upload photos or videos to Upix?
You can click the upload button on the homepage, select the images or videos you want to upload, enter media descriptions, and click upload. Once uploaded, a short URL will be generated for you to share. You can publicly share the short URL or share it directly via SMS software.
Q4: How many media files can I upload at once?
Currently, you can upload a maximum of five images or videos at once.
Q5: Is there a file size limit?
Individual images should not exceed 4MB, and videos should not exceed 60MB.
Q6: How long are uploaded media kept?
You can set the retention time for files in the upload interface, with a minimum of 10 minutes and a maximum of 30 days.
Q7: How does Upix protect the privacy of my media?
You can set a media passcode before uploading files. Users who want to view the media content linked to the short URL must use the passcode to unlock it.
Q8: Will my uploads be deleted or cleared?
When the file retention time set for the short URL expires, the short URL will become inaccessible, and the files will be deleted within 1 minute.
Q9: Is there a paid version of Upix?
Currently, there are no plans for a paid version of Upix.
Q10: What if I forget my short URL?
We're sorry, but because Upix doesn't have a membership system, if you didn't copy the short URL, you won't be able to retrieve it.
Q11: Does Upix support video streaming?
Currently, video streaming is not supported.
Q12: How can I delete uploaded media?
After creating a short URL, the interface will prompt you to download a key.txt file for deleting the media short URL. You can upload the key.txt file using this link to delete the media files. Please note that if you don't download the key.txt file for deletion promptly, you won't be able to delete the media short URL in advance, and you'll have to wait for the system to automatically delete it after the short URL's expiration.
Q13: How does Upix use ads as a source of revenue? And where will I see ads?
Upix primarily generates revenue by displaying ads on the page. You will only see personalized Google ads when viewing short URL media pages.
Q14: How will ads affect my user experience?
We strive to strike a balance between providing a good browsing experience and maintaining platform operation.
